Session 2 / Sesión 2

For me these first sessions are so important to create a great atmosphere in the class, not only among the students but also in their relationship with the teacher, i.e. me.

This is what we did last week on the second session. Mind you, we have two sessions per week!

1- The students leave their objects on a table in the middle of the class.
2- They ask me their questions (most of the time not all of them have it or are shy to ask).
3- When this is done, they show their objects to the rest of the class giving some information about it, telling an anecdote... The classmates ask questions.

Homework: Bring some material they still use or have used in the past to learn English and they have to think of a name for the class.

Para mí estas primeras sesiones son tan importantes porque ayudan a crear un gran ambiente dentro del a clase, no sólo entre los estudiantes, sino también en la relación con el profesor, es decir, conmigo.

Esto es lo que hicimos la semana pasada en la segunda sesión. Recordad, ¡tenemos dos sesiones a la semana!

1- Los estudiantes dejan sus objetos en la mesa en medio de la clase.
2- Me hacen sus preguntas (la mayoría de las veces no todos las tienen o son tímidos para preguntar).
3- Cuando acabamos enseñan sus objetos al resto de la clase y dan algo de información sobre ellos, cuentan alguna anécdota... Los compañeros les preguntan.

Deberes: Traer algún material que todavía utilicen o que hayan utilizado en el pasado para aprender inglés y pensar en un nombre para la clase.
